About us

We built PawSOS because every second matters

PawSOS was created by a group of animal lovers, software engineers, and rescue volunteers who saw a gap — there was no fast, reliable way for everyday people to report an injured animal and get help on the way immediately.

The problem we saw

Every year, millions of injured animals are left without care simply because bystanders don't know who to call, hotlines are slow to respond, and rescuers aren't notified quickly enough. By the time help arrives, it can be too late.

What we built

PawSOS is a mobile-first platform that lets anyone report an injured animal in under 10 seconds. The moment a report is submitted, nearby registered responders — including vets, animal rescue volunteers, and trained helpers — receive an instant alert with the details and location.

From there, you can bring the pet to the responder's clinic, or the responder may choose to come to you depending on the situation. It's a two-way connection that lets both parties coordinate the best path to help.

We've designed every part of the experience to work under stress: big buttons, clear flows, and GPS-powered matching so the right person gets notified — not a call center on the other side of the country.

Our values

  • Speed above all: Every feature is measured by how quickly it gets help to an animal.
  • Accessibility: PawSOS is free for reporters. Anyone who sees an animal in distress should be able to act.
  • Community-first: We believe rescue networks are built by people who care — we just give them the tools.
  • Transparency: We are open about how the app works, how data is used, and how decisions are made.

Where we are now

PawSOS is currently in early access, onboarding our first wave of responders and reporters in select cities. We are a small, passionate team and we're grateful for every person who joins us in building this network.

If you're a vet, rescue volunteer, shelter operator, or simply someone who cares about animals — we'd love to have you. Get early access here.
