By accessing or using PawSOS (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including reporters, responders, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

PawSOS is a platform that enables users to report injured or distressed animals and alerts nearby registered responders. The Service facilitates communication but does not itself provide veterinary, rescue, or emergency services. PawSOS is not a substitute for official emergency services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use PawSOS. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or malicious reports
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any third-party rights

6. Content You Submit

By submitting content (photos, descriptions, location data) through PawSOS, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Service. You retain ownership of your content and are solely responsible for its accuracy and legality.

7. Responder Responsibilities

Registered responders who accept an alert agree to make a good-faith effort to provide assistance. PawSOS does not guarantee that a responder will be available for every report. Responders are independent users, not employees or agents of PawSOS.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any animal report will result in a successful rescue. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawSOS and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to harm to animals, personal injury, or property damage.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PawSOS and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such changes.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. User Rights & Data Protection

PawSOS is committed to complying with data protection laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where PawSOS is registered.
